Registering your interest and contacting us
The interest form asks for your name and email address. Your business name and a short description of what you inspect or maintain are optional. The form also records that you requested contact about Squigg and availability. If you email us directly, we receive the contact details, message and any attachments you choose to send.
We use this information to respond, understand your requirements and follow up about Squigg and availability. Our lawful basis is the legitimate interest in responding to relevant business enquiries and requested expressions of interest. Where you personally would be a party to a contract, steps you request before entering that contract may provide the applicable basis.
Providing information is voluntary. We need suitable contact details to reply. Please do not submit customer records, passwords or sensitive personal information. Registering interest does not create an application account or subscribe you to a newsletter. We do not use website enquiries for automated decisions or profiling.
How the form is delivered
When you submit the form, your browser sends its contents over HTTPS to Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative. Web3Forms receives and stores the submission and sends a notification to hello@squigg.ie. Microsoft 365 also copies that notification to the operator’s darren@squigg.ie mailbox for follow-up. Technical metadata, such as IP address, submission time and referrer information, may also be processed for delivery and spam prevention.
Web3Forms uses infrastructure and service providers including Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner. Its published privacy information also describes spam checks that may send the submitter’s IP address and email address to CleanTalk or Akismet. Our form has no file-upload field or optional third-party integration.
See the provider’s privacy policy and data-processing agreement. Web3Forms operates from India and describes international processing using Standard Contractual Clauses. The operator’s reviewed processing arrangements are described below.
Website delivery and security
Your browser requests the pages, locally hosted fonts, images and scripts needed to display this website. Cloudflare receives network information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as the requesting IP address and request details. Our lawful basis is the legitimate interest in providing and protecting the website.
Hosting provider: Cloudflare Pages
Request logging and retention: Cloudflare processes IP addresses and HTTP request information to deliver and protect the website. Its published retention criteria include the processing purpose, data sensitivity, security risks and legal requirements; it does not give one fixed retention period for all hosting data. Squigg does not operate a separate website request-log archive.
The website does not automatically contact Web3Forms when you merely browse a page. Submission occurs when you send the form. No analytics or advertising integration is included in the website source.
Service providers and international transfers
Email provider: Microsoft 365. Website hosting is provided by Cloudflare Pages and interest-form processing by Web3Forms. These providers and their subprocessors process personal data to deliver their services.
Reviewed processing locations and transfer safeguards: Cloudflare uses a global network and may process data outside the EEA; its data-processing addendum includes Standard Contractual Clauses for restricted transfers. Microsoft 365 may involve international processing under its data-processing terms and transfer safeguards. Web3Forms operates from India and uses infrastructure and spam-prevention providers internationally; its published agreement incorporates Standard Contractual Clauses. Copies of these safeguards can be requested through hello@squigg.ie.
Further information is available in Cloudflare’s privacy policy and data-processing addendum, and Microsoft’s data-protection addendum. The link to the Squigg application contacts a separate service when you follow it. Application processing is covered separately.
How long information is kept
Enquiries and interest registrations handled by Squigg: Enquiries that do not become customer relationships are deleted 12 months after the last substantive contact, unless a specific legal obligation or an active dispute requires longer retention.
Copies held by Web3Forms: The Squigg form is configured in Web3Forms to delete future submissions after one year (365 days) from submission. This is separate from the 12-month period after last substantive contact for enquiry records in Squigg’s mailboxes.
Hosting request logs follow the arrangements above. If an enquiry becomes a customer relationship, the relevant business records and their retention are explained separately. We retain information longer only where a specific legal obligation or an active dispute requires it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@squigg.ie to exercise your rights or ask us not to follow up.
You may also complain to Ireland’s Data Protection Commission. These rights apply subject to the conditions in data-protection law.
Cookies and changes
The website source does not set cookies, local-storage records or session-storage records. Fonts, images and scripts are hosted locally. See the cookie disclosure for the hosting review and form-delivery details.
We update this notice when the website’s processing changes.
